Phase 1 has been deliberately left out of the Health Check, as everyone is assumed to have achieved Phase 1 simply by being in operation as a business.<\/p>\r\n<p>The phases in this guide are detailed as:<\/p>\r\n<div class=\"highlight-box\">\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Phase 2: Computerised<\/li>\r\n<li>Phase 3: Enterprise Integration<\/li>\r\n<li>Phase 4: Supply Chain Integration<\/li>\r\n<li>Phase 5: Workflow<\/li>\r\n<li>Phase 6: Workflow Automation<\/li>\r\n<li>Phase 7: Constraint Management<\/li>\r\n<li>Phase 8: Buffer Management<\/li>\r\n<li>Phase 9: Work-Mix Management<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<p>These nine phases are grouped as follows, each leveraging its predecessor:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Phases 1 to 4<strong> <\/strong>are a <strong>focus on data<\/strong> (data handling and data availability).<\/li>\r\n<li>Phases 5 and 6<strong> <\/strong>are a <strong>focus on processes<\/strong> (operating procedures and their automation).<\/li>\r\n<li>Phases 7 to 9<strong> <\/strong>are a <strong>focus on management methodology<\/strong> (the management of risk and value-adding strategy).<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>The next pages of this lesson will break down each question in the Health Check for you, to aid you in understanding the question and how it applies to you.&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>Each section will be laid out with each of its questions and answer options.
