How - Engagement Options: DIY Questionnaire
The Do It Yourself/Ourselves Approach
The DIY Health Check Questionnaire allows you to complete the assessment in a place of your choosing and at your own pace.
- The way job information moves through your business; how different people access this information (i.e. employees, customers, external suppliers); and how available it is to these people when they need the information.
- Your business’s operating procedures (e.g. Standard Operating Procedures); how these are made available and followed; whether these can accommodate special cases, and any automation of these.
- How your resources and jobs are managed in your business, what systems are in place to manage risk, and any value-added sales strategies the business has.
The DIY Health Check Questionnaire has been designed in line with the Safe Harbours approach. Safe Harbours is necessary to reduce the risk and ensure you can very quickly reach a safe place to stop between each change during your Productivity Journey.
It is also designed to remove the need for the assistance of a WiseService Partner (WSP). This means there is no inconvenience in organising a time that suits both you and a WSP, or the need to take time out of work to attend an event.
Although, this can also mean running the risk of delays in completion due to the trial-and-error nature of this DIY approach.
Clearing Prerequisites
Doing the DIY Health Check Questionnaire allows you to analyse, plan, and complete the journey in your own time and effort.
Although this format is not comprehensive enough for you to clear the prerequisites, coupled with the Tutorial Series on Fluency Portal, it may give you an idea of what needs to be done. It definitely allows a business to take a do-it-yourself approach. However, we would suggest that you should only choose this approach if your business has skill and experience in Phase 5 (Workflow) and Phase 6 (Workflow Automation) of Productivity.
The cheapest and most basic form of implementation is to fully do it yourself.
For this reason, besides completing the DIY Health Check Questionnaire, we recommend reading the information within the Tutorial Series on Fluency Portal and working it out from there.
This approach will involve a lot of trial and error and has the longest lead time for gaining the benefits of the change.
